Getting to the Vlasmarkt
Where do I park?
On the Vlasmarkt itself. Monday to Saturday the square is paid parking between 9am and 6pm, so if you come in the evening you park for free, and on Sunday it is free all day. Do watch out for the shop & go spaces: those are limited to 30 minutes and are not meant for a whole evening. If the square is full, the city car parks are a few minutes’ walk away.
Do I need to book?
No, we don’t take reservations. You walk in and get a table as soon as one is free. If you are coming with a large group, let us know in advance and we will take it into account.
I don’t eat seafood. Is it worth coming along?
Absolutely. Bar Zilt is just as much a bar, so you can come here for wine, bubbles, a cocktail or a soft drink. And the menu has dishes from the land and vegetarian options too, so you won’t just be watching.
How does sharing work?
You order a few small dishes for the table instead of a plate each. Everyone digs in. If you are not sure how much you need, just ask when you order.
