Location

By the Oude Vischmyn

After the First World War, fish was traded in the open air on the Vlasmarkt. In 1930 the city commissioned municipal architect Fernand de Ruddere to build a covered hall there. Until the 1960s the fish market was the hub of the fresh fish trade. Bar Zilt now honours that piece of Dendermonde heritage with a contemporary seafood bar.
